The house was located in a very nice clean neighborhood. We felt very safe. It’s tucked away from traffic and busy areas. The pool was a plus to have. It was very hot and humid (early May), even when it was raining. Since the pool was covered, the kids could still play in the pool while being “stuck” from rain. The outside TV was a fun touch to watch the game while we barbecued. The only thing that was a complete drag, which cannot be controlled, was the biting bugs. We left with lots of little insect bites and could not enjoy being outside in the backyard or deck after dark. Being close to marsh it was inevitable to be surrounded by mosquitoes and other little biting insects. We had to stocked up on bug spray and hydrocortisone cream. Restaurants, beaches and stores to visit were a short drive (about 5min). It’s in the “no cart” zone. So if you want to enjoy driving in a golf cart, you have to drive across the highway, park and rent a cart for the day. We had an amazing time with our boys. Would definitely consider staying there again while visiting our son, who is stationed there at the Naval base about 30 min away.

The pool does get a little too cold to swim in. Only because it is covered and not in direct sunlight. They did however offer a community pool that was much warmer. We enjoyed our stay and the pool didn't even make much of a difference. The location was perfect. My family and I would absolutely stay again. Only thing I can tell you is to bring extra towels if you have a large group staying.
